Bali Woven Double — Spreader Bar

Hand-loomed in Karangasem, northeast Bali, by the Muntigunung Community Social Enterprise — some 200 makers in one of Indonesia's driest regions, weaving work that funds clean water and livelihoods.

A flat, open bed on smooth hardwood spreader bars: the hammock for people who like to lie side-by-side and watch the sky. Cotton weave — bring it in out of the rain and it will serve for years.
